Aashirvaad – Aata with Multigrains Masala Puri

This is another delicious recipe with ITC’s wonderful Aashirvaad Aata with Multigrains!Beautiful golden brown puffed up Puris made with multigrain flour,served with accompaniments of choice!Check out the recipe!

Preparation Time : 45 minutes

Makes : 9 – 11 Puris

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Aashirvaad Aata with Multigrains

1 1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajwain)

1 tsp Kasuri Methi

1/2 tsp Turmeric powder (Haldi)

1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder

1/2 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya)

1/2 tsp Garam Masala

2 tbsp Oil

Oil for frying

Water to knead the dough

METHOD

Add all dry ingredients to the flour and mix well.Add the 1 tbsp oil and blend with the flour.Mix enough water and knead into a stiff dough.Mix the dough with the remaining 1 tbsp oil and keep aside for 20 – 30 minutes till the dough swells up and “sets”.

Divide into 9 – 11 equal sized portions and roll into balls.Flatten them.

Heat the oil on low heat in a pan.Dip each flattened ball into the oil and roll into Puris.

Increase heat and deep fry Puris till puffed up and golden brown.

Serve with a subzi of your choice,yogurt and coriander-mint chutney.

Served with Aloo Baingan,Yogurt and Coriander Mint Chutney!
