Bell Pepper-Paneer Rice

Preparation Time – 30 minutes

Makes – 2-3 servings

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups rice

1 Bell Pepper/Capsicum – sliced

1 Onion – sliced

200 gms Paneer – sliced

Salt to taste

2 tsp Kitchen King Masala (readily available)

2 tsp Shahi Paneer masala (readily available)

2 tbsp Oil

METHOD

Steam the rice in a Pressure Cooker or boil it.Keep aside

Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onions.Saute till translucent and add the Bell Peppers and Paneer.

Adding the Bell Peppers to the Onions..

Add the Masalas and salt. Close lid and cook till the Bell Peppers are soft and Paneer takes on the flavors of the spices.

Adding the Paneer..

Keep aside to cool.

After the Bell Pepper-Paneer mix has cooled,spoon out the rice into this.Mix well with a spatula ensuring the rice grains do not break.

Mixing the rice with the Masala..

Serve hot with any raita,yogurt or with some pickle.
