Fruity Rasgulla Surprise

Have you heard of one dessert being modified into another?Well here is one for you!I have combined two of my earlier posted desserts into one with spectacular results!The desserts were Milky Fruit Salad

This dessert is sans the Kesar.A must for hot summer afternoons when you feel like having a dessert,just try this out!The Rasgullas soak up the rich and creamy milk saturated with the flavours of the fresh fruits making it even more lip smacking!

I have used Condensed Milk as a shortcut but Rabdi or naturally thickened milk can also be used!Lets check out the recipe:

Preparation Time : 1 hour

Chilling time : 12 hours to 1 day

Makes : 4-5 servings

INGREDIENTS

8-9 Rasgullas/mini Rasgullas – Home made or store bought

2 cups full cream milk

1 standard tin Condensed milk(200ml)

2 ripe Bananas – sliced

100 gms Grapes – black or green or mixed

1 juicy Apple – peeled and diced

METHOD

Heat the milk to boiling point and add the Condensed Milk.Lower the heat and mix slowly for it to blend into the hot milk.

Squeeze the syrup from the Rasgullas and cut them into halves.If using Mini Rasgullas add them whole.

Immerse the Rasgullas into the milk mixture and let them remain on low heat for 4-5 minutes.Take off heat and leave to cool completely till room temperature.

After cooling,add the cut fruits and mix well.Chill till serving time.

Ladle into attractive ice cream cups and serve chilled!
