Sometimes when we cook beans and lentils we get leftovers which are a pain when left to go waste.Here is a delicious and lip smacking treat for people who fear the worst with their beans.
Preparation Time – 20 minutes
Makes – 12 – 15 Chops
1 cup Lobia Beans boiled with 2 tsp salt
1 Green Chili – Minced
4 slices multigrain/whole wheat bread
1 cup water
2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Turmeric powder
Oil for frying
Mash the Beans coarsely in a bowl.Soak the bread slices in water,squeeze and add to the beans.Add all other ingredients except Oil and make a Vada batter.
Heat Oil.Make small Vadas or chops and deep fry till crispy and brown on both sides.
Serve with Tomato Ketchup or Green Chutney.Real Yum!
Served with Green Coriander Chutney..
