Macaroni with Garlic Chives and Herbs

Macaroni with Garlic Chives and Herbs

The Italian palette is a favourite in India with its lovely citrusy and sensational flavours and tastes.Having a kitchen garden with lovely herbs is in itself a blessing in the sense that whenever you need fresh herbs you always have them at hand.

This recipe involves fresh Garlic chives which are generally available in winters but can be easily home grown by planting a bulb of Garlic in a pot filled with compost and fertilised with fish manure.Watering everyday will enable the chives to sprout in 15-20 days.

This recipe involves Macaroni pasta and goes very well with crusty buttered toast.Cheese toast also goes very well. This can also be made with other varieties of pasta as well.
