Peanut Pakoda(Crispy coated and fried peanuts)

This is a lovely snack and cmes in the category of finger foods.Easy to make and delicious its a treat in itself.

Preparation Time – 15 minutes

Makes – Approx 1 1/2 cups of Pakoda

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Peanuts

2 tbsp Rice flour

1/2 cup Gram Flour(besan)

2 tsp Red Chili Powder

1/4 cup approx Water

Salt to taste

1/3 tsp Citric Acid

Oil – to deep fry plus 1 tbsp

METHOD

Mix all the dry ingredients together.Add water and the 1 tbsp oil and mix well.Heat Oil in a pan and drop in spoonfuls of the mix till crispy,golden and fried.

Separate the nuts if stuck together and cool to room temperature.Store in airtight containers.

Serve with tea,coffee or beer and cocktails.
