Ivy Gourd is a vegetable which is used in stir fry and curry dishes.This is the recipe of a basic stir fry which is made with this nutritious yet delicious veggie!
Preparation Time – 15-20 minutes
Makes – 4 servings
300 gms Tendli
2 tsp Mustard Seeds(rai)
2 tbsp Refined Oil
Salt to taste
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp Turmeric Powder
2 tsp Red Chili Powder
1 dried Red Chilies
Wash and cut the Tendli into strips.
Heat oil and add the Mustard Seeds and dried Red Chili.When the seeds pop,add the Tendli and stir well.
Add the salt and spices and cook till the Tendli is cooked – approx 10 minutes.
Add the sugar and stir cook for 5 minutes more.
Serve with Sambar and Rice or hot rotis!
