Bombay Chutney Sandwich

This sandwich is popular all around Mumbai(previously named Bombay) hence the name.The sandwich is found from roadside vendors to posh airport Sandwich outlets.Lets check it out today:

Preparation Time – 20-30 minutes

Makes – 6 big or 12 small sandwiches

INGREDIENTS

6 slices Sandwich bread

6 tbsp butter – melted

6 tbsp Coriander-Mint Chutney

1 medium Potato – boiled,peeled and cut into roundels

1 big Tomato – cut into roundels

1 medium Onion – cut into roundels

1 Cucumber – cut into roundels

METHOD

Spread 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp chutney on each slice of bread.

Arrange the roundels of vegetables over 3 slices of bread and cover with the other 3.Press slightly.

Cut into halves for big sandwiches or quarters for small.

Serve with tea,coffee or juice within 15 minutes as the sandwiches will turn soggy soon.
