This dish was featured in Shhhhh Cooking Secretly Challenge which is hosted by Priya Suresh.I was teamed up with Srividya Balaji and we decided on each other’s ingredients.She gave me Broccoli and Cheese while I gave her Raw Papaya.We started planning and soon this Parantha was concocted which I think would satisfy all tastebuds. A delicious way of enjoying the goodness of Broccoli.Coupled with cheese and veggies its a Parantha packed with nutrition and taste.Its a wonderful lunchbox option as well and great to take while travelling.

Preparation Time – 45 minutes
Makes – 6-7 Paranthas
INGREDIENTS
100 gms Broccoli – grated
1 medium Onion – chopped finely
1 cup grated Cheddar Cheese
1 green chili – finely minced
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 small Potatoes – boiled,peeled and grated
1/2 tsp Cumin Powder(Jeera)
Oil as required plus 2 tbsp extra
METHOD
Mix Broccoli,onion,cheese,chili,potatoes cumin powder and salt.Keep aside for 10 minutes.
Mix the wheat flour with the vegetables and cheese.Add the 2 tbsp oil and enough water to mix to a smooth dough.With the help of flour roll out into Paranthas.
Heat a griddle(tava) and heat 1 tsp oil.Lay a parantha on the griddle and spread 1 more tsp oil on the top of the parantha.Once the bottom is browned flip over and brown the other side.
Serve hot with chutney or pickle.
