These are delicious Puff Pastry twists baked crisp with a buttery “coriandery” filling and served with a delicious Garlic Dip!The recipe is inspired by a similar one with Parsley made by Sara from The Domestic Geek!This recipe was sent for the 105th theme of the FoodieMonday Bloghop which was “Savoury Baked Dish”.

Else if you do not want to slog a single bit then go to the nearest supermarket and buy a pack off the shelf.Thaw it for 20 minutes as the pack is kept frozen and take out one sheet of puff pastry.Follow the easy and delicious recipe for a sensational tea time snack.This can also be made for festival parties like Christmas,New Year,Easter or Thanksgiving.These twists do light up kids’ as well as kitty parties!

Preparation Time : 1 hour
Makes : 8 – 9 big or 16 – 18 small twists
INGREDIENTS
For the twists :
1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
2 tbsp plain flour (maida)
For the filling :
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp fresh Coriander Leaves – finely chopped
Topping :
2 tbsp Parmesan Cheese (optional)
For the Dip :
1/2 cup hung yogurt (Take 1 cup fresh and thick yogurt and spoon it into a square piece of cheesecloth or kitchen towel.Hang over the kitchen sink with a vessel underneath to collect the whey.Use the whey to knead dough for delicious roti,bread or drink as it is for a Calcium dose for your body.)
2 tbsp Mayonnaise
1 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
2 tbsp cream
1 tsp salt
2 tsp honey/corn syrup/sugar
1 tsp pepper powder
METHOD
For the Dip :
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and spoon into a Dip bowl or cup.
The Twists :
Preheat oven to 200°C.Take a baking tray and line it with Parchment Paper.
Make the filling :
Melt the butter in a saucepan and add the Coriander Leaves.Cook for 1 – 2 seconds on very low heat and take off the stove.
Roll out the pastry :
Sprinkle the flour on the kitchen countertop and place the sheet of thawed puff pastry on it.Dust the top of the sheet with some flour and roll out the pastry gently into a rectangle.
Make the twists :
Brush the puff pastry rectangle with the prepared filling evenly coating all areas with the butter-coriander mix.Cut into thin strips with a pizza cutter.Twist each strip into spirals and place on the parchment paper on the baking tray.Roll and twist all strips this way.Sprinkle the Parmesan Cheese on the twists (if using).
Bake the twists :
Bake the prepared twists in the preheated oven for 20 minutes till golden brown and crispy.Take them out of the oven and cool on a wire rack till they come to room temperature.
Serve with Dip!
