This is a very delicious Raita which is great with all kinds of rice items like Biryani,Pulao and Tehri.The ingredients itself make this recipe a classic!
I have used Dill leaves popularly known as Sua Bhaji which are easily available in the green leafy veggies section these days.They add a great taste to the raita and are absolutely great for health!I have never tasted a raita with a more refreshing taste!
Makes a great meal option for weight watchers and healthy eaters!
Preparation Time : 20 minutes
Makes : 4 servings
INGREDIENTS
1 Cucumber – peeled and diced
1 Pomegranate – pearls removed
1 Potato – boiled,peeled and diced
1 Apple – peeled and diced
100 gms Grapes – halved
2 cups thick yogurt – whisked
4 – 5 tbsp water
3 tbsp finely chopped Dill Leaves
3 tbsp powdered sugar
2 tsp Black Salt (Kala Namak)
1 tsp Chaat Masala (optional)
METHOD
Mix yogurt,water,sugar,salt and Chaat Masala in a large mixing bowl.Whisk till smooth and thick.Add all the fruit and vegetables and 2 1/2 tbsp Dill Leaves.Keep aside 2 tbsp Pomegranate Pearls for garnishing.Ladle the Raita into a serving bowl and garnish with the rest of the Dill Leaves and Pomegranate Pearls.
Refrigerate till serving time.Serve chilled!
