This is another version for a quick sandwich.Made with fresh,soft Paneer and crispy vegetables this is a yummy and lipsmacking tummy filler alright!
Preparation Time – 15-20 minutes
Makes – 12 big or 24 small sandwiches
INGREDIENTS
6 big sandwich bread slices – white/brown
2 tbsp fresh and soft Paneer – cut into small cubes
2 boiled and cubed Potatoes
2 small or 1 big Onions – diced
6 fresh Iceberg Lettuce leaves – washed and drip dried
1 big Tomato – sliced into roundels
1/2 cup Cheese Spread
1/2 cup Mayonnaise(Classic/Eggless)
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pepper
6 tbsp Butter(melted)
METHOD
Spread the bread slices with 1 tbsp Butter each.Keep aside.
In a bowl mix the Cheese Spread,Mayonnaise,salt and pepper.Add the vegetables – Cubed Potatoes and Onions and chopped Lettuce.Add the Paneer cubes and mix very well.
Now place a Lettuce leaf on one slice of bread.Place 3-4 Tomato slices covering the slice and put 1 tbsp of the filling on the slice.Cover with another buttered slice of bread and press slightly.
Cut the bread into 2 big or 4 small sandwiches by cutting diagonally.
Serve with Tomato Ketchup.
